The Lore of Versa Arcana

The galaxy far, far away is home to many rare and mysterious artifacts, most tracing their origins back to the Old Republic era, if not earlier. Some are relics of ancient races, while others are the legacy of enigmatic figures. Yet none are as rare, or as profound, as the Arcana Star Map — a peculiar metallic orb said to chart a perilous path across the void to an entirely new galaxy.

Its aesthetic is as captivating as its rumored purpose, with geometric elements encasing its spherical body. Each interlocking segment harbors celestial navigation secrets, deliberately cast out of alignment as though part of a puzzle yet to be solved.

It was this unresolved state that inspired us most, and we sought to capture it in lightsaber form. For that, we chose the Aeryn — its signature brass thin-neck echoing the warm, ancient hue of the device itself.

From there, we etched the hilt in intricate cartography. Circular motifs framing the emitter and pommel are drawn directly from the Star Map’s surface, while intersecting arcs across the main grip and switch section mirror the arcane navigation lines in an intentionally incomplete arrangement.

To give this weapon true historical weight, we avoided pristine finishes altogether. Instead, the saber hilt’s brass powder-coated surfaces have been marked by signs of deterioration — its sheen subdued by time, yet its inscriptions preserved in full. The result is a lightsaber that has taken on the appearance of a truly coveted relic, hidden for centuries within the ruins of Arcana.

In essence, it is a vector toward an entirely new beginning — one with the power to upend the order of all that is known. All that remains is for it to be found and deciphered. For that, it bears the elusive name Versa Arcana.
